Ada Corine (Ramsey) Scarberry, 96, of Ripley, WV, passed away November 23, 2024, at Jackson General Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born on August 17, 1928, in Ripley, WV, a daughter of the late Dewey and Ona (McDaniel) Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Scarberry, daughters, Pamela Westfall, Betty Grisham and Patricia Anderson; grandsons, Leroy and B.J. Frazier; great-grandchildren, Edward McMillion and Chole Stoffel; brothers, Calvin, Raymond, Richard, Buster and Arthur Ramsey; sister, Mary Frazier.

She was a caregiver and a Baptist by faith. She enjoyed visiting, walking and feeding the animals.

Survivors include her sons, James Scarberry of Kenna, WV, Jerry Scarberry of Kingwood, TX, Ralph and Denver Scarberry both of Ripley, WV; daughters, Carol Frazier of Parkersburg, WV, Debra Knotts of Ravenswood, WV and Charlotte Scarberry of Millwood, WV; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending and a service will be held in the future.
