Andrea Blane (Ellis) Donohew, 42, of Leon, WV, peacefully walked into heaven September 5, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born November 6, 1980, in Ripley, WV, a daughter of the late Delano Blaine Ellis Jr and Paula (Straley) Sayre of Evans, WV.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Ethan Wayne Donohew.

Andrea, was a 1999 graduate of Ripley High School and a homemaker. She attended Faith Assembly of God, Ripley, WV and enjoyed woodworking, farming and crafting. She was a homeschool mom and enjoyed spending precious time with her loved ones.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years Chadwick Wayne Donohew; daughters, Addyson Elaine Donohew and Amelia Reign Donohew; brother, Adam Ellis of Evans; sisters, Amanda (Brandon) Winland of Mount Alto, WV and Cassidy Sayre of Evans; grandmothers, Mary Straley of Ripley and Fern (Dan) Joyce of Blacksburg, VA.

Service will be 2 p.m. ~ Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Pastor Adam Nester officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley, WV. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the funeral home.
