Anna Agnes (Sayre) King, 97, of Evans, WV, passed away December 11, 2025 in Ravenswood Care Center following an extended illness.

She was born June 7, 1928 in Evans, WV a daughter of the late Chris Coe and Mary Lena (Miller) Sayre. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel J. King; brothers, Dorsal, Cecil, Raymond, Sydney and Gay Lee Sayre; sister, Flossie Sayre; grandchildren, Justin Michael McIntyre, Sarah McIntyre and Shawn Alan King.

She was a 1946 graduate of Ripley High School. She was a homemaker and a former employee of Sewing Factory. Ann was a former cook for the Parchment Valley Conference Center, McDonalds and the Dairy Buggy. She was a member of the Evans Church of God and enjoyed music, spending time with her grandchildren. Ann always had a servant's heart and was willing to open her home with hospitality to all.

Survivors include her sons, Terry (Beverly) King of Evans, Stephen (Madelyn) King of Scottsdale, AZ; daughter, Marquita (Michael) McIntyre of Evans; granddaughter, Holly B. (Chip) Wood.; grandson, Jonathan Tisdale; great grandchildren, Elicia Wood, Ian Wood, Caesyn Tisdale, Brody Tisdale and Noah Lawson.

Service will be 1 p.m. ~ Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Evans Church of God with Pastor Benjamin Riggleman officiating. Burial will follow in Longview Cemetery, Evans, WV. Visitation will be from 11a.m. until time of the service on Tuesday at the church.
