Anthony Donovan Paul Ayers , 21, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, following a brief illness.

He was born March 29, 2000, in Parkersburg, WV, the son of Anthony Loyd Ayers of Parkersburg and Janine (Kerns) Lawson of Ravenswood. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Denita Sigmon and great-grandmother, Zella Huffman.

Anthony was a 2019 graduate of Ravenswood High School and was an employee of K.S. of West Virginia. He will be greatly remembered for his loving and funny personality. Anthony was an avid Lakers Basketball fan and enjoyed fishing and hanging out with his friends who were more like brothers to him.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include his loving wife, Breanne (Black) Ayers; brother, Brandon Givens of Ripley; sister, Savannah McConnell of PA; brothers-in-law, Nathaniel Black of Ravenswood, Christopher Crow of Ravenswood; sister-in-law, Alexis Black of Ravenswood; mother-in-law, Lisa Black of Ravenswood; "Granny", Ruby Kibble of Ravenswood and a host of and friends.

Service will be 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV, with Pastor Chris Skeens officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
