B. Charlene (Ward) Wilson, 79, of Ripley, WV, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021, at her home.

She was born October 31, 1941, in Ironton, OH, a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Hoptry) Ward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Michael Bush.

Charlene retired as a paint specialist from Hardman's in Ripley with 18 years of service. She was the only person in the state of West Virginia certified and trained to mix certain paints, of which she was proud. Charlene attended First United Pentecostal Church in Ravenswood for several years. She was an avid bowler, an Ohio State Football fan and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 56 years, Doug Wilson; daughter, Cheryl Donohew and her husband, Mike of Mason County; brother, David Bush of Ashland, KY; sister, Thresa Wilson and her husband, James of Ironton, OH; two grandsons, Michael and Cade Wilson and two great grandchildren, Brody and Zoey Wilson.

Service will be 1 p.m., Friday, September 24, 2021, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV with Pastor David Johnston officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Leon, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday, at the funeral home.
