Betty Gail Reed, 61, of Gay, WV passed away November 2, 2020 at the Ravenswood Care Center. She was born February 22, 1959 in Huntington, she is the daughter of Mary Ellen Triplett Stanley and the late James Stanley.

Betty was a Ripley High School graduate and worked as a teacher's aide in Sparta, WI. She enjoyed crafting, woodworking, cooking and gardening. Betty loved making Christmas candy and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Left behind to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother; is her husband of 41 years, Timothy Reed of Gay, WV; two daughters, Megan Bond (Gilbert) and Gwendolyn Richards (Mathiew) both of Cottageville; three grandchildren, Conner Bond, Jocelyn and Collin Richards; and one sister, Carolyn Broscious (Carl) of Oliver Springs, TN.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a niece, Chandra Margo.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Casto Funeral Home in Evans, WV with Pastor Mark Price officiating with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Roane County. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until time of the services.
