Betty Imogene Sayre , 89, of Evans, WV passed away September 9, 2024, at the Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center, Point Pleasant, following a brief illness.

She was born October 16, 1934, in Evans, the daughter of the late David Luther and Hattie O. (Donohew) King. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Rob King, Charles King and Paul King.

Betty was a Christian and member of the Longview Community Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, scrap booking and crafts.

Survivors include her children, Allen Sayre (Jeanie) and Armor D. "Junior" Sayre, Jr. of Evans, Theresa Christy (Charles) of Apple Grove and Vanessa Peery (Steve) of Ravenswood; 17 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, David L. King, Jr. and Troy King and sisters, Lucille Hanna and Sandra Davis.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the Longview Cemetery, Evans, WV. Arrangements are being provided by Casto Funeral Home, Evans.
