Beverly Kay (Akens) Allgire, 65, of Ripley, WV, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, WV.
She was born March 25, 1959, in Ripley, WV, a daughter of the late Carl L. and Beulah Ann (Hamon) Akens Sigman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Allgire.
Beverly graduated from Ripley High School and went on to pursue a career in Nursing at the University of Rio Grande and West Virginia University- Parkersburg. She had worked as a Medical Office Assistant for Dr. Cindy Reese in Ripley for several years. Beverly was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Epworth United Methodist Church where she was the head usher and assisted with the grief counseling group. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, and loved stained glass work.
Survivors include her son, Seth Casto and wife, Samantha of Evans, WV; stepsons, Jason (Makki) Allgire of FL, Matt Allgire of Pittsburgh; brother, Bud Akens and his wife, Beverly of Ripley; grandchildren, Cameron and McKinze Casto of Evans, Derick and Devon Allgire and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
