Brenda Ann (Tolley) Koon , 63, of Ripley, WV, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 11, 2022, at her home.

She was born August 18, 1958, in Ripley, WV, a daughter of the late Marvin Eugene and Ruby Anna (Gandee) Tolley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Tolley.

Brenda was a 1976 graduate of Ripley High School and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Eldercare in Ripley, with over 25 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Ernie Koon; daughters, Amy Bevel and her husband, Franklin of Palestine, Michelle Smith and her husband, Wayne of Ripley; brothers, Mark Tolley and his wife Tresa of Ravenswood, Kenneth Tolley of Ripley and six grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be 3 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Ripley Church of the Nazarene 209 Cedar Lakes Drive Ripley, WV, with Pastor Kris Powell officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. until time of service on Saturday, at the church.
