Brenda Sue (Fields) Parsons , 78, of Millwood, WV, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at WVU Medicine Camden Clark, Parkersburg, following an extended illness.

She was born December 4, 1944, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Roy Fields and Madge (Rhodes) Older. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, K.D. Hess.

Brenda retired from the Kroger Company as a Cashier in Charleston with 25 years of service. She enjoyed dancing, spending time with her grandchildren and was a loving mother and best friend to her daughter, Kelli.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Paul Parsons; daughter, Kelli Hess; step-children, Phillip Parsons and his wife, Jean, Pamela Hitt and her husband, Chuck and Paula Parsons; brother, Jerry Fields and his wife, Linda and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Service will be 3 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV. Burial will follow in the Fairplain Cemetery, Fairplain, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 1 p.m. until time of service on Thursday, at the funeral home.
