Charles Lee Cozart, 77 , of Ravenswood, WV, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, in J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV, following a brief illness.

He was born July 24, 1944, in Ripley, WV, a son of the late Arlene Maxine (Cozart) Pease. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter; brothers, John F. "Butch" Pease, Timothy Pease.

He was a retired licensed contractor. He enjoyed woodworking, mowing, and keeping his yard, spending time with his grandchildren. He was a Christian.

Survivors include his wife Rebecca Lea (Simms) Cozart; sons, Charles Lee Cozart Jr. and his wife Stacey of Rockton, IL, Will Bradley and his wife Kelly of Lexington, KY; daughters, Lisa Cale of Morgantown and Samantha Kersey and her husband Jim of Ravenswood; grandchildren, Madison, Charlie III, Ross, Levi, Naomi, Jamie, Bill, John, Dillon, Dalton, Devin, Casey, Christopher, and Colby; great-grandchildren, Easton, Mason and Kennedy; brothers, William "Bill" Pease of Ravenswood, Clyde "Pete" Pease of Parkersburg, Jim Pease of Hutchinson, MN, and Jesse Pease of Ravenswood.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. ~ Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Ravenswood Cemetery, Ravenswood, WV, with Pastor Mark Price officiating. Arrangements provided by Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV. Condolences can be shared at castofuneralhome.com
