Clara Belle (Jarrett) Taylor, 88, of Evans, WV, passed away August 16, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born September 22, 1936, in Fayette County, WV, a daughter of the late LeRoy and Orvy (Lane) Jarrett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Evangelist Norman L. Taylor; daughter, Sharon (Taylor) Burge; grandson, Jeremy Taylor; brothers, Evangelist Jack Jarrett and Glen Jarrett.

She was a homemaker, a devoted Christian, Ministers wife and mother. Clara was a wonderful friend and neighbor. She enjoyed music and traveling with her husband's ministry.

Survivors include her daughter, Joy (Taylor) Stevens of Huntington, WV; sons, Ron Taylor of Evans, WV and Norman Taylor Jr. and his wife Ginger of Piqua, OH; brother, Kenneth "Bud" Jarrett and his wife Shelvy of Evans, WV; 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. ~ Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Pastor Enoch Pursley officiating. Burial will follow in Longview Cemetery, Evans, WV. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time-of-service Wednesday at the funeral home.
