Clark Waldo Kinzel, 80, of Cottageville, WV, passed away March 3, 2025, in Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division following an extended illness.
He was born December 26, 1944 in Cottageville, WV, a son of the late Smith and Myrtle Mae (Gerlach) Kinzel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Chester, Ralph, Melvin, Paul and Levi Kinzel; sisters, Vivian Stephens, Bernice Shinn, Edith Kinzel, Twila Hunt, Ruby Barnette and two infant twin sisters.
He enjoyed tinkering on tractors and spending time on his farm. He was a United States Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Lucille (Jacks) Kinzel; daughter, Kimberly V. (Mike) Doss of Franklinville, NC; granddaughter, Jasmine M. Rock of Greensboro, NC; sister Lucy Mae Shinn of Nitro, WV.
Service will be 1 p.m. ~ Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Dennis Keefer officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hebron/Jackson Chapel Cemetery, Mount Alto, WV. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
