Darlene Lynn (Harmon) Burgess, 69, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Hubbard Hospice House, West, South Charleston, WV.

She was born January 2, 1955, in Ravenswood, WV, a daughter of the late Charles "Jack" and Wanda (Bennett) Harmon.

Darlene retired from the Shipping and Receiving department at KS of West Virginia with 16 years of service. She enjoyed playing cards, old Nintendo games, watching the Andy Griffith show, westerns, and tending to her outdoor flowers.

Left to cherish her memory include her sons, Glen Burgess and wife, Marlana of Millwood, Rodney Harmon and wife, Shonda of Ripley; brothers, Charles Edward Harmon and wife, Dora of Alabama, Larry "Jim" Harmon and wife, Deedee, of Sandyville; sisters, Patricia Tucker and husband, Kenneth of Alabama, Cindy "Pebbles" Pride and husband, Tim of Sandyville; grandchildren, Dalton (Kayla) Burgess, Tyler (Alison) Harmon, Whitney Harmon, Toren Harmon, Dakota Burgess; great grandchildren, Walker Harmon and one on the way, Baby Griffin.
