Darlene Elizabeth (Click) Davis, 79, of Cottageville, WV, passed away November 7, 2024 in Hubbard Hospice House West, Charleston, WV from an extended illness.

She was born January 13, 1945, in Sylvania, OH, a daughter of the late Dellas Luther and Geraldine Rosetta (Ritenhour) Click. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, George A. Davis Jr.

She was a 50-year member of the Homemakers Club and the Cottageville CEOs. She was a member of the Cottageville Chapel Church, was past president and active member of the Blaine Memorial Cemetery Association  and a former 4-H leader. She enjoyed reading and sewing.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, George Albert Davis Sr.; daughter, Tammy Elizabeth (David) Shreve of Jacksonburg, WV; brother, Rodney D. (Anna) Click of Assawomen, VA; sister, Joanne C. (Billy) Myers of Millwood; daughter in law, Kimberly Davis of Cottageville; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Service will be 1 p.m. ~ Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Pastor Bo Higby officiating. Burial will follow in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville, WV. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time-of-service Tuesday at the funeral home.
