David Phillip Fisher Sr., 84, formerly of Erlanger, KY and Cottageville, WV, passed away under Hospice Care of Toledo following an extended illness.
He was born December 1, 1940, in Clover, WV, a son of the late James and Flava (Parsons) Fisher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Brenda J. Fisher; brother, Charles Fisher.
He grew up on the Fisher Family Farm in Cottageville, WV, and loved the F.F.A. He was and avid fisherman, golfer and sports fan following the Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins, Michigan Wolverines and the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Survivors include his son David P. Fisher Jr, Ethan Fisher; daughter Susan Fisher; step-son, Paul Garrigues; step-daughter, Alice Hale and Shannon Asa; brothers, Carl (Becky) Fisher of Bluffton, IN, Donny (Connie) Fisher, Michael (Brenda) Fisher and Jeffry (Kimberly) Fisher all of Cottageville.
Service will be 2:30 p.m. ~ Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Jackson County Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, Cottageville, WV, with Dave Fisher Jr. speaking. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:30 p.m. until time of service Saturday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV.
