Debra Lee (Folden) Bowling, 57, of Ripley, WV, passed away July 8, 2022 in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, WV, following a brief illness.

She was born July 28, 1964, in Ripley, WV, a daughter of the late George Howard Folden Sr and Rosie Lee (Curry) Folden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Dean Folden; sister, Helen Diane Cutlip; husband, John Cox.

She was a graduate of Ravenswood High School. She was a caregiver employed by West Virginia Choice and the Jackson County Development Center. Debra enjoyed her cats, flowers and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her brother, George H. Folden Jr of Ravenswood; sisters, Lisa Baker of Sandyville and Kathie Keffer of Charleston; special friend, Mike Larabee; nieces, Arlana Ellison, Erica Folden, Courtney Buchanan, Megan Tarpy, Whitney and Jamie Baker; great nephews and nieces, Luke and Emma Tarpy, Chloe and Rhett Buchanan  and one on the way.

Service will be 7 p.m., Monday, July 11, 2022, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Pastor Dee Rhodes officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. until time of service on Monday, at the funeral home.
