Diane Sue (Holsinger) Riffe, 72, of Cottageville, WV, passed away July 12, 2021 at her home following a sudden illness.

She was born October 1, 1948, in Greenfield, OH, a daughter of the late Rodney Jay Holsinger and Cleo Martina (Blaine) Holsinger. Her brother, Jay Holsinger also preceded her in death.

She was a retired school teacher working for the Wyoming and Mason County Boards of Education with twenty-one years of service. She was a member of the West Ripley Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, poetry and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Darrell Allen Riffe; sons, Vincent R. (Stacy) Riffe of Ripley, Anthoney L. (Sheila) Riffe of Mount Alto; brothers, Steve (Miracle) Holsinger of Bloomingburg, OH, Dennis (Sherry) Holsinger and Jeff (Kim) Holsinger both of Greenfield, OH; sisters, Judy (Steve) Pazienza of Cincinnati, OH, Shirley Jette of Xenia, OH and Crystal (Bobby) Davis of Seminole, FL; grandchildren, Haley Dillon, Destiny Durst, Stone Riffe, Elijah Q. Riffe and Isaiah J. Riffe; great-grandchildren, Seth W. Dillon and Austin R. Durst.

Service will be 5:30 p.m. ~ Friday, July 16, 2021 at West Ripley Baptist Church with Pastor Franklin Howerton officiating. Burial will follow in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville, WV. Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until time of service Friday at the church.
