Donald Ray Kay, 75, of Ripley, WV, passed away April 17, 2026 in Mountain View Care Center, Ripley, WV, following an extended illness.

He was born September 30, 1950, in Ripley, WV, a son of the late Leo Clifford and Marie Catherine (Berg) Kay. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Clifford Richard Kay, Raymond Alonzo Kay, Ralph Armstrong Kay and Eugene Berg; sister, Beverly Kay Bauch.

Survivors include his brothers, Walter Kay and Ronald (Sandra) Kay both of Ripley, Delbert (Shirley) Kay of Statts Mills; sisters, Fonda Mae (Larry) Watts of Ripley and Louise Rhodes of Ripley. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Service will be 2 p.m. ~ Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Pastor Todd King officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley, WV. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
