Dora Irene (Alexander) Durst, 85, of Leon, WV, passed away September 9, 2020 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born June 16, 1935, in Leon, WV, a daughter of the late Edward and Ester (Wagenor) Alexander. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert W. Durst.

She was a former employee of the Sewing Factory in Ripley. She attended the Bethel Church, Leon, WV and enjoyed gardening, flowers and yard work.

Survivors include her son, Tracy D. Durst of Leon; daughters, Sharon (Doug) Garten of Leon and Patricia Grimm of Gallipolis, OH; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. ~ Sunday, September 13, 2020 in the Baden-Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Leon, WV, with Pastor Freddie Mills officiating.
