Elizabeth Ann (Sargent) Riggs, 68, of Ripley, WV, went to meet the lord, October 2, 2024, at her home with her loving husband by her side.

She was born July 27, 1956, in Ripley, WV a daughter of the late James Leo and Isabelle Elizabeth (Stone) Sargent. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Ann was a housewife and graduate of Ripley High school, class of 1974. She enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends in her free time. She enjoyed bowling and hunting from time to time. When you entered a room, you could always tell she was there because of her loud voice. She was very confident and proud.

Ann is survived by her Husband, Gary Lee Riggs; daughter, Carrie Miihlbach (Jason) of Medina, WV; son, Gary James Riggs (Kristy) of Sandyville, WV; grandchildren, Emily Marcum (Cameran), Brandt Riggs, Colten Riggs, Preston Riggs, and Milea Miihlbach.

Service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2024, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Seldon Angus officiating. Private burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Rock Castle, WV.  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time-of-service Friday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to the Mount Olive Cemetery, C/O Casto Funeral Home, P.O. Box 167, Evans, WV 25241.
