Elva June (Britton) Weekley, 81, of LeRoy, WV, passed away April 22, 2026 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born December 7, 1944 in Wilding Community of Ravenswood, WV, a daughter of the late William McKinley and Catherine Virginia (Kline) Britton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Harley Weekley; longtime partner, George Henry Holt; sister, Ochial Skeens; brothers, Frank and Edward Britton; son, Michael Holt; son in law, Gary Rhodes.

Survivors include her sisters, Velma Rhodes of Ravenswood, Kittie Britton of Florida, Donna Smith of South Carolina; brother, Jim Britton of Wilding, WV; children, William Holt of LeRoy, WV, Karen Rhodes of Medina, Allan (Brenda) Weekley of Ripley, Diane (Jesse) Workman of Ripley, Tammy (Charlie) Angus of LeRoy; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

June was a beautiful, loving and caring woman who cherished time spent with her family and friends. She had a deep love for flowers and wildlife and enjoyed going to yard sales, finding joy in the simple things in life. She also adored her small Yorkie dogs, caring for them deeply and treating them like part of the family.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. ~ Monday, April 27, 2026 at Liverpool Cemetery, LeRoy, WV, with Brandon Workman officiating.
