Ephrum Woodrow "Woody" Herdman, 57, of Leon, WV, passed away November 8, 2021, at his home following an extended illness.

He was born May 25, 1964, in Leon, WV, a son of the late Charles Abraham and Helen Thelma (Boles) Herdman. His sisters, Boots Baker, Sue Blevins and Charlene Castle; brother, Dale Herdman also preceded him in death.

He was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School and enjoyed being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and riding his side by side. He was employed by the West Virginia Department of Highways as an operator for Mason County.

Survivors include his brothers, Mark Herdman and Mike Herdman both of Leon, Bobby Herdman of Fairplain; sisters, Doris Smith of Leon, Judy Herdman of Ravenswood, Marcella Keefer of Leon, Brenda Moore of Leon, Sharon DeWeese of Leon, Edna Jeffers of Southside and Jean Hager of Columbus; dogs, Lucy and Bo.

Service will be 11 a.m. ~ Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Jennings Page officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leon, WV. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
