Eric Glen King , 57, of Ripley, WV, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born October 8, 1966, in Ripley, WV, a son of the late Myron M. King and Delphia Marie Sayre.

Eric was a 1985 graduate of Ripley High School. He was a United States Army veteran serving from 1985 to 1991. He was a GM Master mechanic for 32 years and was most recently employed at Walker Chevrolet of Nitro, WV. Eric enjoyed hunting and fishing as often as he could. He was a loving husband, father and "Papa Hun" to his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years Deborah R. (Clendenin) King; son, Justin (Mia) King of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Haley C. (Joe) Cross of Evans; grandchildren, Addison, Kylie and Waylon Cross; sister, Lisa Butcher of Cottageville; step-mother, Dianna King of Evans; several nieces, nephews and in laws.

Service will be 4 p.m. ~ Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Pastor Benjamin Riggleman officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
