Ernestine Bosley, 85, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away February 20, 2026, in Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division.

She was born May 31, 1940, a daughter of the late Elsie Mae (Bates) Snyder Parsons and her stepfather Cecil A. Snyder Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Edward Bosley Sr. brothers, Charles "Buddy" Bates and Cecil A. "Jake" Snyder Jr.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafting.

Survivors include her son, Walter Edward Bosley Jr. (Nolana) of Ravenswood, WV; daughter, Cathy Akers and her husband Edward of Ripley, WV; brother, Dallas Ray Snyder of Ravenswood; grandchildren, Eric Bosley, Michael, Carita, Jonah Jaelyn Akers and Josh, four great grandchildren.

Service will be 2:30 p.m. ~ Friday, February 27, 2026, at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV with Pastor Allen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time-of-service Friday at the funeral home.
