Frances Mae (Parrish) Steele, 93, of Given, WV, passed away November 23, 2025 in Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV, following an extended illness.

She was born June 14, 1932, in Ravenswood, WV, a daughter of the late Lee Owen Parrish and Edith Virginia (Patterson) Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Alan Steele; grandsons, J. Ryan Monday and Christopher Wayne Steele; brothers, Billy and Lee Owen Parrish.

She was a homemaker and a former waitress. She enjoyed crosswords and puzzles.

Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Dwaine Rex Steele; sons, Ricky Wayne Steele and his wife Teresa of Hillsboro, NC, Dwaine R. Steele and his wife Shelly of Ripley, WV and Dwight R. Steele and his wife Cheryl of Hampton, VA; daughters, Cheryl Lynne Biancaniello of Ripley, WV and Debbie Kay Monday of LeRoy, WV; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Private intermit will be in Ravenswood Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Casto Funeral Home.
