Geraldine (Spaulding) Casto , 85, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away November 21, 2020, at home, following an extended illness.

She was born July 20, 1935 in Borderline, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Arnold James "A.J." and Anna (Bragg) Spaulding. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Casto; sons, Gary Kent, Paul Kent, Alan Kent; sister, Zeffie Loveday; brothers, Edward, Millard, Gene and Elmer Spaulding; grandson, Jason Kent.

She was a former janitor for Kaiser Aluminum. She was a member of the Ravenswood Church of God and was a former Sunday school teacher. Geraldine, enjoyed gardening, canning and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Renea (Joe) Pursley of Ravenswood, Brenda Stone of Cottageville, Paula Blankenship of Buffalo, Shirley (Todd) Patterson of Gallipolis and Patricia Blair of Ravenswood; sister, Mae Webster, Norfolk, VA; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Entombment will be Tuesday ~ November 24, 2020 in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville, WV. Services will be private. Arrangements provided by Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting castofuneralhome.com.
