Goldie Lillybelle (Livingston) Herdman, 85, of Mount Alto, WV, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 after an extended illness.

She was the daughter of the late Okey L. Livingston and Eva Jane (Devault) Livingston.  Goldie was a homemaker, a wife, a mother, a nan, an aunt, and caregiver, but most importantly, she was a daughter of the King.  She loved the Lord and just couldn't understand why when she asked people to go to church that they didn't want to go.  In addition to serving the Lord, Goldie loved working in the garden, canning, picking berries, reading, making quilt tops, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Goldie was preceded in death by her loving husband Arnold Keith Herdman; brothers, Cleon and wife Dorla Livingston, Bernard and wife Patsy Livingston; sisters, Hazel and husband Pete Sayre, Roberta Wheeler, and Tacie Edwards.  Also preceding her in death was her mother-in-law, Hazel Sayre Herdman whom Goldie loved and helped care for; and a very special niece, Deloris Williams.

Goldie's life will be remembered and cherished by her sons, Terry and wife Kim Herdman of Gallipolis, OH and Eric and wife Jeanette Herdman of Leon, WV; her grandchildren, Joe and wife Miranda Herdman, Amanda and husband Wayne Myers, Erica and husband Jimmy Jordan, and Christopher Herdman; and her great-grandchildren, Nathan Vernon, Emma Vernon, Audrey Vernon, Josiah Herdman, Jeremiah Herdman, Jacob Vernon, Brayden Jordan, Ava Clark, Briar Jordan, and Bryton Jordan.

Service will be 12 o'clock noon, July 2, 2025 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Rev. Chris Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Creston Cemetery, Evans, WV. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time-of-service Wednesday at the funeral home.
