Hazel Faye (Harless) Chambers, 91, went home to Heaven, February 20, 2025.

She was born October 11, 1933, in Madison, WV, a daughter of the late Will and Olivia (Browning) Harless.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Bryce, Ezekiel, Sigal, Curtis, Harold, and Will Harless Jr.

Hazel was a loving mother and grandmother who cared very much for her children and grandchildren. She spent many hours each day reading the Bible and praying for her family and others. If she knew you,  she has prayed faithfully for you. Above all, she loved the Lord . As a young teenager Hazel loved working at the pharmacy in Madison and later on at Phil's pharmacy in Ravenswood. She enjoyed greeting and talking with her customers daily, spreading joy and encouragement. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her son, Steven (Susan) Chambers; daughters, Debra Elswick, and Jo Ellen Wilson, all of Ravenswood; granddaughters, Ambria Kirtley and Angel Barker; grandsons, Joseph Chambers, Cade Wilson, and Gerard Elswick and five great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank Mountain View care center for their care for Mom and to Jackson General Hospital.
