Irvin Denver Hoschar, 74, of Millwood, WV, passed away March 25, 2024 at Charleston Area Medical Center, General Division following a sudden illness.

He was born February 7, 1950, in Ripley, WV, a son of the late Junior Issaac and Leona Jane (Rhodes) Hoschar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Hoschar; father-in-law Patrick Hanshaw.

He was the owner/operator of Hoschar Septic Service with 46 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, boating, gaming, camping and spending time with his family. He was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years Karen Lee (Hanshaw) Hoschar; sons, B.J. Hashman and Gregory Dale Hoschar; sisters, Linda D. (Bob) Miihlbach of Silverton, WV and Brenda A. (Danny) Stone of French Creek, WV; grandsons, Tyler and Michael Hashman; nephews, Stephen Riddle, Jason, Eric and Christopher Hoschar; nieces Brenda Moore, Michelle McDougal, Robin Evans, Sheila Garnes and Shelley Cozart; many great nieces and nephews.

Service will be 7:30 p.m. ~ Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Tom Jeffrey officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until time-of-service Wednesday at the funeral home. Graveside/Committal Service will be 11 a.m. ~ Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville, WV.
