James Lester Jordan Jr., 70, of Mt. Alto, WV, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024, in Rivers Health Hospital, Point Pleasant, WV, following a brief illness.

He was born July 6, 1953, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late James Lester Jordan Sr. and Rose Marie (Fry) Jordan of Point Pleasant.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Karl Jordan.

He retired from Appalachian Electric Power River Transportation with 30 plus years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and the outdoors.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his sister, Lucinda Jordan of Point Pleasant; brothers, Clyde (Lisa) Jordan of Mt. Alto and Timothy (Cheryl) Jordan of Jacksonville, Florida; sons, Jesse (Danile) Jordan of Letart and James (Erica) Jordan of Point Pleasant; daughter, Joni Jordan of Hartford; seven grandchildren.

There will be no public services. Private burial will be in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville, WV. Arrangements provided by Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV.
