James Edward "Jimmy" LeFay, 64 , of Evans, WV, passed away February 21, 2022 at his home following a sudden illness.

He was born May 12, 1957 in Charleston, WV, a son of the late George Eugene LeFay and Jean Dorsey (Harlow) King of Ripley, WV. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father Lewis Blaine King; grandparents, Don and Lucy Harlow; nephew Lars Smith.

He was an accomplished musician and owner and operator of several businesses. He was a graduate of Ripley High School. He enjoyed riding Harley Davison motorcycles and four wheelers.

In addition to his mother Jean, survivors include his sisters, Vicki McLaughlin and Joe Casto of Charleston, WV, Lisa King and (Wade Clinton) of Ripley and Rachel and Frank Roberts of Hendricks, WV; nieces, Elizabeth Smith, Rebecca Roberts, Meghan Parsons, Emily McClain (Taylor); nephews, Frank (Beth) Roberts and Blaine McLaughlin (Hollie).

Private family service and burial will be in Fairplain Cemetery. He will be interred beside his loving grandparents Don and Lucy Harlow.
