Jerry Keith Casto, 79, of Kenna, WV, passed away suddenly March 19, 2022 at Jackson General Hospital.

He was born June 27, 1942, in Belgrove, WV, a son of the late John Hoyt and Iva Ellen (Munday) Casto.

He retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways with 35 years of service. He enjoyed bluegrass and gospel music and square dancing. He enjoyed auctions and being around everyone. He never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face.

Survivors include his fiancé, Norma Jean Anthony of Ravenswood; brother, Gary Casto of Kenna; sisters, Betty Jo (Casto) Moore, Dottie Lou (Casto) Brown and Rudy, Cathy Sue (Casto) Canterbury and Kevin all of Kenna; 11 nieces and nephews; 28 great-nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews.

He will be sadly missed by all of his friends and family.

Service will be 1 p.m. ~ Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with the Rev. Herman Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Casto Family Cemetery, Kenna, WV. Visitation will be from 12 o'clock noon until time-of-service Wednesday at the funeral home.
