Jesse Wayne Cofery, 62, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away October 15, 2026 in Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, WV, following a brief illness. 

He was born November 14, 1963, in Albion, NY, a son of the late Willard Lee and Anna Jean (Stewart) Cofrey.

He was a former manager of Dairy Queen in Ravenswood and Vienna, Pizza Hut in Ravenswood. He was a former hospital employee. He enjoyed and loved animals having dogs and several varieties of birds. He enjoyed watching American Pickers and Pawn Stars.

Survivors include his companion Mark Allen Blair of Ravenswood; brother, Franklin J. Cofrey of Palestine, WV. 

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. ~ Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore, WV with Jenna L. Casto officiating. Visitation will be 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV. In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to the American Diabetes Association P.O.
