Kermit David Ellison, 82, of Millwood, WV, passed away September 23, 2025 at his home following an extended illness.

He was born June 6, 1943, in Reedy, WV, a son of the late Kermit V. and Martha Lucille (Stewart) Ellison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dixie Elmore.

He was a graduate of Spencer High School. He was a retired well tender for Peake Energy and enjoyed trout fishing, hunting, vehicles and the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife of 60 plus years, F. Jeanne (Arbaugh) Ellison; sons, Jeff (Patricia) Ellison of Cottageville and Scott (Tara) Ellison of Ripley; grandchildren, Daniele and Nicholas Ellison.

Private graveside services will be in Good Hope Cemetery, Reedy, WV.
