Lewis Wade Stephens, 80, of Cottageville, WV, passed away July 9, 2024, in Ravenswood Care Center, following an extended illness.

He was born March 25, 1944, in Cottageville, WV, a son of the late Lloyd E. and Margaret (Durst) Stephens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Eileen (McCoy) Stephens; brother, Charles Stephens; sister, Anna Mae Easter-Taylor.

He was a graduate of Ripley High School. He was the former co-owner and operator of J.E. Stephens Farm Machinery, Cottageville, WV. He retired from Constellium of Ravenswood as a Mill Operator with 36 plus years of service. He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union Local # 5668 Ravenswood, WV. Lewis enjoyed farming and hunting.

Survivors include his son, Aaron (Amy) Stephens of Cottageville; daughter, Amy (Keith) Kerns of Cottageville; grandchildren, Noah, Briana, Rachel and Rebecca.

The family would like to thank the Ravenswood Care Center and Kanawha Hospice for their care.

There will be no public services at this time.
