Linda Mae
Reynolds
Jun 15, 1942 — Mar 19, 2026
Linda Mae Reynolds, 83, of Evans, WV, passed away March 19, 2026, at home after a brave fight with a long illness. She was born June 15, 1942, in East Liverpool, OH, the daughter of the late Curt and Mary Seevers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bud, sisters Mary Corwell, Sue Lotzenheiser, and brother Jerry Seevers.
Linda met the love of her life and forever partner, Lenzy "Bud" Reynolds as he stopped to assist her alongside the road when her car broke down in route to a volleyball game. She and Bud married in December of 1964 and started their family in Spencer, WV. In October of '65 Linda gave birth to their only child and she and Bud devoted the rest of their lives to loving and caring for their son, Buddy. Linda worked at many different jobs from grocery store clerk to medical assistant until she started her career at Kaiser Aluminum, where she retired in 1996 as the company's Benefits Supervisor. Upon retirement, Linda enjoyed life with Bud traveling, hobbies, and priceless time with their family. Besides being a great wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many, Linda enjoyed sewing, crafts, baking, and golfing with her son and grandson. In her active years Linda was rarely seen without Bud, Buddy, or the family dog. Those who knew her, remember her as generous, caring, and selflessly devoted to her family and friends. When Bud passed in the spring of 2020, Linda spent many of her final years battling a lung disease with the assistance of her dedicated friend and caregiver, Brenda. While she loved and appreciated this life to the fullest, Linda anxiously awaited the opportunity to rejoin Bud in Heaven.
Survivors include her son Buddy and his wife Kathy of Baden, WV; granddaughter, Sarah (Dalton) Border of Durham, NC, grandson Logan (Allison) of Morgantown, WV; great grandchildren Elliet, Izzy, and Andrew; brother Dan Seevers of Atlanta, GA and several loving nieces and nephews. Linda is also survived by her and Bud's dedicated caregiver and dear friend Brenda Cranfield of Mt. Alto, WV.
The family has opted for private services with plans to have a celebration of the lives of Linda and Bud at a later time. Arrangements are provided by Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV where online condolences are welcomed.
In addition to all those who loved and helped Linda in her final months, special appreciation is due to the great team at Kanawha Hospice, especially Lori Casto and Brittany Hall.
