Loretta Jean (Miller) Durst , 88, of Cottageville, WV passed away May 9, 2025 at WVU Jackson General Hospital.

She was born, December 25, 1936 in Blair, WV the daughter of the late Foy Tilden and Henrietta Gay (Roe) Miller. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughters, Linda Morgan and Sharon Barnes; brothers. Randy Miller, Allen Miller and David Miller and a sister, Betty Dolin.

Loretta was a homemaker and attended the Hopewell Baptist Church at Mount Alto. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and she loved animals especially cats and dogs.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Kenneth W. "K.D." Durst; son, Jason Durst (Janet); brother, Foy Miller, Jr. (Sandy); sister, Donna Browning (Floyd); six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Casto Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Riggleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery, Mount Alto, WV. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
