Lou Ann Hinkle, 66, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at WVU Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, WV.

She was born May 26, 1958, in South Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Franklin H. "Junior"  and Virginia Rose (Shingleton) Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Randolph.

Lou Ann was a 1976 graduate of Ravenswood High School and was involved in the International Order of  Rainbow Girls. She worked and held multiple roles for Walmart in Ripley and Mineral Wells with 25 years of faithful service. Lou Ann enjoyed dancing, fishing, attending sporting events, and traveling. Most importantly she was a proud mother of her two children and grandmother to her granddaughter.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Randy Hinkle; son, Travis Hinkle of Fairmont; daughter, Jessica Snider and husband, Adam of Ravenswood; granddaughter, Ariana Snider; stepbrother, Larry Moore and wife, Linda of Shinston; stepsister, Diana Benson and husband, Danny of Parkersburg and two very special friends, Bev Grady and Brenda Lee.

There will be a visitation for family and friends on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV.
