Marie Ellen (Riffle) Jett, 81, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, in Mountain View Care Center, Ripley, WV, following a brief illness.

She was born February 22, 1943, in Sandyville, WV, a daughter of the late Delbert and Freda Frances (Starcher) Riffle.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Jett and sister-in-law Naoma Faye Salser.

Marie attended First United Pentecostal Church, Ravenswood, WV and was a homemaker. Although she had a very difficult early life, Marie became a very loving and giving person. She was a devoted caregiver to her sister-in-law Faye Salser and following her passing, Marie continued to be loved and cared for by Faye's children.

Survivors include her children, Gary Riffle, Jimmy Jett and Janie Jett; She will be greatly missed.

There will be no public services at this time. Burial will be in Morgan Cemetery, Ripley, WV.

Arrangements are under the care of Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV.
