Michael Lee Boggess, 72, of Kenna, WV, passed away October 7, 2020, at the Hubbard Hospice House, CAMC following an extended illness.

He was born January 3, 1948, in Charleston, WV, the son of the late Knoble and Sarah Bondenia (Chancey) Boggess.

Mike was a United States Army veteran and was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. He was a retired well tender and enjoyed deer hunting, coon hunting and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Caroline (Stover) Boggess; the pride and joy of his life, his two daughters, Amy Hinzman (Paul) and Michelle Bostic (Jimmy); grandchildren, Kiana Lanham, Michael Lanham, Jimmy Lee Bostic and Gracie Bostic; and a sister, Patricia Jones (Rusty).

Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Grasslick Cemetery, Kenna, with the Rev. Tim Showen officiating and military honors provided by the Jackson County Honor Guard.
