Mildred (Jenkins) Legg, 98, of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Ravenswood, WV, passed away October 24, 2023 in Lofland Park Center, Seaford, DE.

She was born August 21, 1925 in Canfield, WV, a daughter of the late Harry and Malissa O. (Simmons) Jenkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Legg.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Independent Fellowship Church, Ravenswood, WV. She enjoyed gardening and during World War II was a member of the Soldiers of the Soil extension service program for young women of West Virginia.

Survivors include her son, Thomas Michael Legg of Fairfax, VA; daughter, Brenda K. Grobarz of Millsboro, DE; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. ~ Monday, October 30, 2023 at West Virginia Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, Calvin, WV, with Pastor Allen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Arrangements provided by Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV.
