Myrtle "Marie" Fife Keefer , 86, of Leon, WV departed her earthly home to her Heavenly home on May 10, 2025 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Marie was born July 4 1938 in Middleport, OH and was the daughter of the late Rev. Albert Raymond and Anna Myrtle Ward Fife.

Marie was a homemaker, co-owner of Keefer's Service Center, and longtime member of Creston Church. She enjoyed reading the Bible, gospel music, wordsearch, flowers and crocheting.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her two children, Larry Keefer (Alice) of Mount Alto, WV and Debbie Marcum (Arnie) of Point Pleasant, WV; sisters, Maxine Keefer (George) of Leon, WV, Deloris Riggs of Letart, WV and Roscue "Bub" Fife (Linda) of Cheshire, OH; sister-in-law, Anita Fife; four grandchildren, Carmen Gerwig (Alan), Rodney Keefer, Justin Beckner (Cassie) and Seth Beckner; and four great-grandchildren, Aleah and Drake Gerwig and Josie and Liam Beckner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband who she married on July 4, 1957 Larry Joe Keefer; and four siblings, Reba, Norma Jean, Raymond Lewis "Buddy" and Junior.

Funeral services are set for Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Casto Funeral Home in Evans with the Pastor Jimmy Jordan officiating.  Burial will follow at Creston Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Casto Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
