Norma Jean Keefer, 86 , of Leon passed away October 7, 2020. Norma was born on June 19, 1934 in Middleport, OH. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Albert and Anna Ward Fife.

Norma had worked as a nursing assistant and retired from Pleasant Valley Hospital. Norma was also a great homemaker, cook and made the world's best Lemon Meringue Pie. She attended Evans Church of God and enjoyed taking care of her grandson Ryan Rayburn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded her husband James Paul Keefer; siblings, Reba, Buddy and Junior Fife; and two brother in laws, Jack Riggs and Joe Keefer.

Norma is survived by her daughter Paula Rayburn of Leon, WV; one grandson, Ryan Rayburn; a brother, Roscoe Fife (Linda) of Gallipolis; three sisters, Maxine Keefer (George) and Marie Keefer both of Leon and Deloris Riggs of Letart, WV; and one godson, Rodney Keefer.

Funeral services will be Sunday October 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Casto Funeral Home in Evans, WV with Rev. Ben Riggleman officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 PM until time of the service
