Patricia Ann (Walker) Chapman, 53, of Cottageville, (Flatwoods Community) passed away October 14, 2021, at her home following a sudden illness.

She was born February 29, 1968, in Ripley, WV, a daughter of the late Jerry Dexter Walker and Iva Victoria (Fields) Walker of Ripley. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Raygan Westfall; grandson, Korey Harrison.

She was a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in business. She was a caregiver and enjoyed riding horses, gardening, animals and giving her granddaughter hillbilly baths. She was a leap year baby and will always be remembered as a free spirit.

Survivors include her sons, Derek Scott Simons and Caitlyn of Ripley, Nathaniel Dexter Westfall of Ripley; daughter, Kacie Michelle Casto and Mark of Kenna; brother, Jacob M. Walker of Ripley; sisters, Lisa Gail Walker of New York, formerly of Ripley and Tina Marie Walker of Evans; special friends, Sherri Smith, Belinda Cochran and Steve Rhodes; boyfriend, Frankie Leach; grandchildren, Josiah, Rylea, Jasper, Elijah and Avery.

Service will be 7: 30 p.m. ~ Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Pastor Dee Rhodes officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m., until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Siniaville Cemetery, Statts Mills, WV.
