Patricia Darlene (Hodge) Newman, 52, of Belpre, OH formerly of Mount. Alto, WV, passed away May 16, 2026 at her home following a sudden illness.

She was born November 19, 1973, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Fredrick and Mary Evelyn (Gibson) Hodge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Tommy Hodge and Beth Reynolds.

She was a graduate of Ripley High School and West Virginia University. She was a former social worker and a homemaker. She enjoyed collecting panda's and her beloved dog Wendi.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Jason Scott Newman; brothers, Jerry, Jimmy, Gary, Larry, Glen, Duke, Freddy and Edwin Hodge; sisters, Crystal (Chris) McNemar, Viola Doll, Julie Roush, Julie Matineau and Brittany Hodge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Private interment will be in Jackson Chapel/Mount Hebron Cemetery, Mount Alto, WV.
