Patrick Earl Sayre, 60, of Cottageville, WV, passed away March 28, 2023 in Ruby Memorial/WVU Hospital, Morgantown, WV, following a brief illness.

He was born January 5, 1963, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Robert Early and Elizabeth Faith (Floyd) Sayre. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Dallas Sayre; sister, Carolyn J. Lanning.

He was a graduate of Ripley High. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local # 1207 Charleston, WV. He was a former employee of C-Mart/Cottageville Food Center, G.S. of WV and an avid farmer. He was a member of the Ohio Valley Motorcycle Club and the Regulators. He enjoyed hunting, motorcycles, collecting, flea markets, the outdoors and being with his many friends. He was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his wife and companion of the last 35 years, Reta Faye (Miller) Sayre; daughter, Janet Marie Durst and her husband, Jason W. Durst of Cottageville; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Private service and burial will be in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville, WV.
