Paul Clarence Knox, 79, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023, in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, WV,  following an extended illness.

He was born August 4, 1944 in Ravenswood, WV, as son of the late Joseph Clay and Viola (Cummings) Knox.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Juanita Stutler, Emma Faye Allman, Sandra Sanders, and Ruby Bell Townsend.

Paul was a retired laborer with Laborers Union Local #1085 Parkersburg, WV. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include, his son, Paul C. Knox Jr., of Cottageville, WV; daughter, Cindy Knox of Cottageville, WV; brother, Robert Knox of Ravenswood, WV; and his little dog Bootsie.

There will be no public services at this time.
