Paul Cadmus Parrish , 92, of Leroy, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at home, with family by his side, following a short illness.

He was born October 21, 1929, at his home place on Parrish Hill, a son of the late Cadmus Orlando and Osa Lola (Landfried) Parrish. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Paul Curtis Parrish and several brothers and sisters.

Paul proudly served in the United States Army. He worked and retired from the shipping docs I&L at Century Aluminum with 33 years of service and was a member of the United Steelworkers Union Local #5668, Ravenswood, WV. Paul was also a member of the Beni Kedem Shriners, Charleston, WV and the 32 ^nd Scottish Rite, Charleston, WV. He was a member and former deacon at Mill Creek Baptist Church and was very active in his community. Paul was an avid hunter, sports fan, and enjoyed softball.

Survivors include his loving wife of 70 years, Shirley A. (Miller) Parrish; sons, Timothy Parrish, Mark Parrish, both of Leroy; sister, Hazel Easter of Jackson County and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

There will be no public services held at this time.
