Peggy J. Kwasnik , 88, passed away in Broomfield, CO on January 9, 2023.  She was born in St. Mary's, WV to Helen and Lester Mott.  She was the oldest of three daughters and her sisters are Patty DiDonato (deceased) and Sue Palacios, currently residing in Las Vegas, NV.

Peggy graduated from Weirton High School in West Virginia.  She married John Kwasnik then moved to New Jersey shortly after.  In 1980 she returned to Ravenswood, WV, for their retirement.  In 2005, after John passed away, she moved to Broomfield, CO to be close to her daughter, Pamela Tillman and two granddaughters, Michelle Kinz and Melissa Decker.

Peggy's hobby was cooking especially baking.  She enjoyed making Deviled Eggs, soups, Banana Bread and a multitude of cookies.  She also loved to spoil the dogs in her life because she always said pets are with us only a short amount of time, so treat them well.

Graveside memorial service will be 10 a.m. ~ Tuesday, May 9, 2023 in Ravenswood Cemetery, 203 Gibbs Street, Ravenswood, WV 26164 with Pastor Allen Stewart officiating. After the service at the cemetery, there will be a luncheon/reception prepared for the family at the Independent Fellowship Church, 713 Washington St. Ravenswood, WV 26164.
